Daily Self-healing practice is about taking responsibility for your life and reprogram your life in a way that is healing and transformational for your whole being. At first, it may seem confusing but when practiced, it is as easy as anything can be. Self-healing is indeed proportional to practicing self-love in many ways and requires a great bit from your side. But, in a bigger picture reality, it is smaller consistent actions that lead to bigger changes.
Is Self-healing only physical?
We all have the natural abilities to heal ourselves without our conscious awareness. It is embedded in the infinite intelligence of the body cells and tissues to repair themselves without us having to think consciously about it. Have you ever had to command yourself to heal that scratch or wound you got in an accident? No. Your body always seems to know what to do and how to heal itself when left alone.
Do you think this healing is only limited to the physical self or there is an expanded dimension to the healing?
The human body is designed to perform numerous autonomous functions without the conscious awareness of the organism. While the mind is busy in collecting the exterior experiences for the wisdom bank of the soul, the body has learned to become a progressive vehicle for the soul. Evolution always moves in a progressive direction. That is why it is very important for the body to adapt and what better way than the inherent intelligence in every single cell to grow its ability to make quick decisions of expansive importance.
This intelligence is not just physical. It expands to all directions, covering the directions of both mind and soul. So, a person can program everything in their life to be self-healing. This new knowledge and wisdom of self-healing fall in spiritual or energy healing.
How Do I Heal Myself Spiritually/energetically?
Healing yourself spiritually or energetically is a process that requires utmost purity of attention and intention from you. You can never just pop a pill and leave your life in the hands of others to make decisions for you in this. It requires you to show up daily for yourself – authentically and lovingly.
Here is a 5-minute quick spiritual practice for you to follow daily, in your self-derived time:-
1. Sit in a comfortable position and become aware of your breath.
Please note that there is a difference between breathing in a way and just noticing the way you are breathing. You are supposed to only observe/notice the way your breath is already flowing – in and out, in and out. No need to change the pattern of your breathing. Just keep paying attention.
This is a basic step to become present in the here and now moment and to stop yourself to getting entangled in the never-ending cycle of thoughts for the next few moments.
2. Take your palms together in front of you and rub them together quickly for 30 – 60 seconds.
Let them become warm from the friction and feel that warmth. Invite a slight smile in as you are rubbing your hands and taking this time. Smiling itself is healing and has the ability to switch our moods in a few seconds. Allow this fundamental knowledge to become the root of something transcendent in you now.
3. Hold your hands 6-8 inches away from each other, facing each other and feel the energy flowing through them.
This energy is always here and you are feeling it now because of the intention and the awakening of your awareness to it. You feel this energy tune into it. Know this is part of you. Keep on smiling as all the steps slowly merge into each other and become one whole step.
4. Close your eyes. See if you can move the energy up your arms, through your body.
There is no “wrong way” to do this. You are awakening your energy body with your intent and your intent is to feel and to heal. See if you can move that energy to any part of your body you may feel some stress or illness in. Keep it there knowing you are sending it love and positive “healing energy.” If you feel like you are losing touch with feeling the energy – rub your hands together again.There is no judgment and no way to do this incorrectly.
Picture the energy in whatever way feels right for you. Perhaps you just want to feel it or maybe you want to picture it as a white light – it is whatever way feels the easiest for you. So, let yourself play with this step and smile while doing it.
5. Continue to work with this flow of energy.
Call it to different parts of your body. Notice how it feels as it reaches different spaces. This energy can help those areas that usually bring you pain— feel grateful for finally recognizing this inherent ability in you. Notice the energy relaxing the parts of the body it flows into. Thank your body for being able to awaken to this awareness and healing. Playing with this energy flow for even five minutes can bring a state of joy and peace that you may have felt was impossible even minutes earlier.
How did that feel? I know when I first felt this energy I was pretty amazed that it was always present in my body yet I had not been in tune to it. In just five minutes you can change your energy flow and state of being. You can offer your body, mind, and spirit some healing.
